10:30-11:30 younger children, aged from 5-8years

11:45-12:45, Older children, aged 9-16years 

The cost of the course will be £44 total for the 4 weeks,(£11 per session.) We will be making the following.

Vegetarian options are available on request. Simply turn up dressed for mess and with a take home tub!

Our weekly "Bagel Bites" class. Perfect for our younger students, or those just starting out on their culinary journey with Mother Dough! This fun, closely supervised class helps students practice and develop their cookery skills. Chefs in this class use safety equipment, such as plastic knives- before moving onto a real knife when the child feels comfortable. They learn skills that are age-and-stage appropriate. This allows them to learn in an as safe as environment as possible, whilst still allowing them the opportunity to progress and build confidence in their skills.

- Our young chefs focus on specific elements of, and skills related to, the weekly dish
- A range of dishes from simpler skills-based weeks, to more ambitious dishes with the “Wow!” factor
- Students gain access to a weekly recipe for use at home. Over time they’ll build a cook book of their very own, with the relevant skills to match
- Chefs take home what they make!

Our weekly “Dough Balls" class. For our slightly older or more experienced chefs who have already begun to acquire the basics of cookery. Our “Bread Sticks" class is for our teenage chef brigade! Students in this class have, or with support quickly learn, many basic foundational skills. This is a great class for older chefs that want to build their confidence in the kitchen, becoming more independent young adults. Wether helping out with dinner at home or going to university with a few solid recipes under their belt, this class makes the most of our chef tutor’s professional insight, to stretch potential. A class that both supports and challenges the older chef on their culinary journey.

- Teenage chefs work more indepedently, sometimes adding extra elements to our weekly dish or learning more advanced techniques not suitable for younger classes
- Every term has it's own theme with varied, seasonal recipes. Each week is different!

Lewis Fallows

Lewis loves the cookery class  and his confidence in cooking is building. His Oreo cheesecake and chicken nuggets were amazing.  Great   chefs who are down to earth and  friendly. They encourage the children to bake and create food that they love to eat.  Lewis is a very fussy eater but he is trying different food as the other children do - so does he.  win win as we get to try his creations too.

Georgia has always had a keen interest in food. After leaving school she trained at catering college and has worked professionally in several restaurants.
